And would Nai be able to find his friend Karoku with just the bracelet? -- Written by The Warping Penguin

Though still on going, Karneval is by far an -interesting- read.
Though the series starts of a bit slow, one may feel slightly bored by it. But do not stop! The story DOES get a lot better by Volume 8. In fact, this is where all the action starts; where all the real problems begin, and where we get to uncover the true nature of Circus!

There is an anime adaptation, which started airing in 2013.
I can conclude that from the episodes I have seen so far (since it's still on going prior to this blog post) that the anime HAS grasp the series in a more fascinating way, which may make newer readers find the Karneval series a lot more appealing.

So, do check em both out!

This blog entry is only for a database-like purpose only.
The Warping Penguin does not own the series, nor contribute to the uploading of manga scans.

hahahaaa

Well, it's not really an "upgrade" more like a deciding on a new theme for my blog.

SO! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS NEW LAYOUT / TEMPLATE?
Any comments?
Ya like?
Or not ?

HOVER OVER EVERYTHINGGG
I finally got that drop down list thing in in those menu bars.
And you see those slides above?
I made 5 random slides which links to parts of my blog and to other places!
THEY'LL CHANGE EVERY NOW AND THEN TOO
:'D

After completing all of the tweaking, I found that it made my blog look a bit... plain.
BUT HECK
I may change the template again soon haha ^^

I got this template from [here].
My template was called "Quest" and heck, it was REALLY confusing to tweak... since I aint a huge techy with html shizz bizz haha
Sooooo if you any of you guys wanna have a go, then go ahead!
It only took me literally a whole day to be able to figure out what I was doing..... hahaha
But I guess I managed to get it done!

Now... I hope this template wont screw up with me, or else I've have to go back with a standard blogspot template blog xD
I want a change!
Yeah!

Howdy folks!
It's been a while!

I haven't abandoned this blog, nor neglected it, just kinda forgot to update it with more personal stuff~ haha
BUT!
Today I shall list down 5 of my FAVOURITE Android Apps, that I mostly use on my SamsungSII phone!

Here they are!

#1. MX PLAYER

Probably my FAVOURITE amongst anything app in the whole entire world!
Why?
MX Player not only acts as a video player, it PLAYS majority of the files that a few video players out there cannot! From FLV to MP4 to MKV to AVI etc, this player puts the PLAY in PLAYER. It's also subtitle supported (SRT softsubs only -- for anime watching make sure you switch on the subtitle track!), and if the audio has more than 1 languages, you can change between the two! Dandy new feature is that now you can watch the video both horizontally and vertically!

People ask me how in the heavens could I catch up with 570 episodes of One Piece in less than 2 months back then... Well, this handy video player app sure helped me out! You can put as much videos as you want, as long as your device (phone/tablet) has sufficient amount of space!
(I got 12GB on my phone hehe)

Here are a few screenshots of what it looks like in the inside and when you play videos!:

ねねみんあ!
Do you guys like jokes?
I prefer puns.
They're a lot more hilarious /teehee/
Here's a few!

"Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now."

"A small boy swallowed some coins and was taken to a hospital. When his grandmother telephoned to ask how he was a nurse said 'No change yet'."

"A prisoner's favorite punctuation mark is the period. It marks the end of his sentence."

Casting puns aside, do you guys also like pranks?
I like ghost pranks, since they are the most humorous!
You'll definitely get a good laugh from em~

HERE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVS!

ねねみんあ!
Hope you all have a fun April Fools day!

Play pranks, but play them safe :)

Hello everyone!
Today is Good Friday~
And it's the Easter long weekend!

Technically everything is closed today
Well~ just the big main stores.

I don't celebrate Easter.
In fact, I'm ashamed to say I'm not even sure what Easter is about.
I'm not that knowledgeable
/haha/

I am just thankful for its holiday!

So I hope everyone has a good Easter.
Don't get drunk too much~
On alcohol and chocolate eggs!

Let me share something~
Not really Easter-ish, but it does contain RABBITS.

One of my FAVOURITE mangas called:
「ラビット。ドウト」 (RABBIT DOUBT) by Yoshigi Tonogai
[Read online]

That's just the preview of the 4 volume manga series.
I totally recommend it!

Hello Bloggers!
Your blogger, The Warping Penguin, is currently sick, and it has been 4 days already.
Today, I have lost my voice.
My sickness started on Thursday.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday I was hit with gruesome fevers.
They hit me up in the morning, then they would recede for about 4 hours before giving me another relapse.

Once Sunday hit, my fevers have officially ceased with the medication my doctor gave me.
However, my throat started to tear; and I get wheezing every time I would lie down to sleep.
Hence, it may be evident that I am an asthmatic.

It is now Monday, and I went to the doctors again before I attended Week 4 of University.
Mondays = Japanese classes for me!
Lotsa fun, yes yes.
But very demanding!!

Sooo~
I decided to do a "review" of my にほんご class every now and then.

"WHY WOULD I EVEN BLOG ABOUT UNI SHIT?!" you ask?
Simple.
My Bachelor of Arts Major is Psychology, so I've learned in that ~lovely~ course, that by doing something you like whilst integrating something you don't (i.e. Blogging + Studying) could also deem EFFECTIVE.

HENCE! I get to blog, PLUS study BY recapping what I've learned!
(Note: this may not work for everyone haha)

These reviews are also acting as my "study notes" and heck!
Maybe you'll be able to learn by reading them as well ;D

These study notes will be tagged as "にほんご" so if you like to read through the Japanese and learn about them, make sure you use THAT tag to find it!

I've been star struck by the 3 letter word --
"OST."
Original Sound Track.
From anime (in this blog entry).

Yeah, I know, why would a person (like me) like to listen to anime OST?
Simple really.
OST is like the soul of anime.
The more intense the OST, the more it'll grasp the audience into watching it.

Good OST in a good anime will be able to grasp your attention;
It will make you feel emotion;
It will make you like the series more.

Good OST in anime is EVERYTHING.
Without OST, the anime itself is bland.
Without OST... Anime will just be boring.

I have seen countless anime's out there, however, I only decided to write up this quick post because I was just searching for 2 OST music out on youtube (the first 2 listed below LOL).

Here, let me share 5 random anime OST's from the top of my head!

#1. Momoiro Gabriel from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

#2. Danshi Koukousei to Bungaku Shoujo from Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

#3. Bloody Rabbit from Pandora Hearts

#4. Reverse Situation from Naruto Shippuuden

#5. Number One Instrumental Ver from Bleach

Hey, do you guys think the FIRST TWO OST's listed sound the same?
Or is it just me... :|

Well, anime OST doesn't just have to be instrumental.
There are some OST's that also has lyrics, for example Bleach's [Number One] and Utapri's [Most Fortissimo] both have vocal and instrumental versions. These two are still classified as OST since they are "original sound track" from anime.

Piano covers from OST are also to DIE for.
I swear you had better watched that ^

And I assure you, you will regret nothing, once you start to love listening to anime OST non-stop.

-Toodles! Hope ya'll liek this random entry-
